We were delighted to hear the wonderful news of local business owner Nicola Court wining a silver award for Best Businesswomen in Health and Beauty 2024. This nationwide award commemorated Nicola’s hard work and dedication within her sector.
Nicola has been refining her craft within Traditional acupuncture and Chinese medicine since 1999, and now specialises in fertility and pain management. When we visited her business Path to Wellbeing at Greenway Business Centre, whilst there we experienced a friendly atmosphere within a calm and relaxing setting, all encompassed by the amazing scents of herbal medicine. We asked Nicola what made Path to Wellbeing so special, she said:
“Generally, we support wellbeing and want to help people whether they are experiencing pain, trauma or having issues with Gynae or fertility. Everyone is different and we tailor sessions individually to people’s needs. We sit and talk, we listen and we build everything around our patients” Â
Path to Wellbeing has strong community ties and long running client list, including one client who has visited the clinic every month for twenty years. Recently Nicola hosted a client community event which brought lots of her customers together to meet each other, share stories and generally create new friendships. With such an extensive client base we asked Nicola about her most popular services, she said:

Every 2 weeks the clinic hosts low-cost community sessions to make treatments accessible to all. Their extensive community work also led them to support the Grenfell Tower community by working in a free trauma clinic. All of this has led to Nicola being recognised for a series of awards, including the already mentioned Best Businesswomen 2024. Whilst also being nominated as a finalist for both the Essex Business Awards in February 2024 and National Businesswomen’s Awards in October 2024. It’s clear this long-standing business is going from strength to strength and being widely acknowledge. We asked Nicola what the future looks like for Path to Wellbeing, she said:
“We are in the process of creating new Path to Wellbeing natural skin care range using natural ingredients. Beautifully crafted products such as solid body lotion bars will soon be available to buy from our clinic. They will include indulgent ingredients such as cinnamon, orange, vanilla and more. We are working on the packaging and hope to have them ready for Christmas.”
Path to Wellbeing is eager to help more of the local community and connect with businesses. Whether you are looking to join the clinic 1-2-1 or perhaps sign up your business for employee wellbeing, there is something for all.
