West Essex Business Support ➡️ Driving success

Posted on January 15th, 2025 in Harlow Business News

Kirth Noel Creative Media is a photography and videography business based in the Greenway Business Centre in the Pinnacles area of Harlow. The business is owned and operated Kirth Noel, a Harlow resident who set the company up in 2012.

Kirth specialises in high-end video production for brands, particularly product photography and videography. Kirth has a specialist niche in this area due to his background in engineering. Kirth came to Britain from St Vincent in 2003 and, prior to entering the photography industry in 2012, worked as an engineer for the British Army.

In his role as a helicopter engineer, Kirth gained great experience in working with moving robotics and has taken these skills into his company. Thanks to his engineering background, Kirth discovered a passion for visual engineering, blending technical skills with creativity to craft unique, visually stunning content. Kirth uses several robotic and animatronic rigs in order to offer enhanced movement to his product videography and has recently invested in cutting-edge Camerabotics movement rig designed to enhance the quality of product videography. As such, Kirth can offer a high-end, unique product photography service – creating exceptional, cutting-edge visuals that help brands stand out.

Whether it’s a captivating beauty ad or a dynamic product demo, Kirth takes pride in pushing the creative envelope and helping brands tell their story in a memorable way. With a customer list including global brands like Motorola and Mitsubishi Electric, and work spans industries such as beauty and skincare, fashion, tech, and food and beverage, his Harlow studio is at the forefront of the photography and videography industry.

Kirth has recently engaged with the team at West Essex Business Support after being visited by the team during a door knocking and leaflet distribution session in the Pinnacles in August 2024. After his enquiry was received, a meeting was set-up for Kirth to meet with Business Advisor, Chris Smith, at the West Essex Business Support project office in Harlow for a one-to-one session in September.

Like many businesses, KN Creative Media face challenges in finding the right customers to utilise their service. While the business has all the equipment and studio space to produce outstanding, high-quality video and photos that would be suitable for high-end, luxury products with large marketing budgets, Kirth required some assistance in developing his sales process to engage and convert these businesses into customers.

Chris and Kirth have been working together on developing the sales and business development side of the business to ensure KN Creative Media has a robust customer base that can ensure this unique, Harlow business can thrive into the future. By taking a structured approach that focuses on communicating the value that the company can provide and foregrounding the investment into both skills and equipment that the company has made, Kirth is able to better engage with potential customers and sell the company’s services more effectively.

Chris also advised that working with reliable local companies to sub-contract to, Kirth could improve his offer to customers and provide a wider-ranging, more inclusive service to his potential clients, helping him attract the larger projects with bigger budgets.

As part of the effort to develop Kirth’s links with other local businesses, Chris has introduced Kirth to many of his other West Essex Business Support clients to see if mutually beneficial working relationships can be developed. This has included IT companies, web development companies and event management businesses. This has already resulted in some work being referred between these businesses.

In order to formalise this network, Chris and Kirth set-up the first West Essex Business Support Networking Event which was held at Kirth’s studio on the 28th of November. The event introduced more of the local business community to KN Creative Media, giving them a chance to see his impressive studio space and the services he can offer.

Kirth and Chris remain in touch and are currently meeting on a fortnightly basis to share ideas on how to further develop the business.  Kirth will continue to be supported by the West Essex Business Support programme as he works on building the business in the coming years.

West Essex Business Support is funded by Harlow, Epping Forest and Uttlesford District Councils. Businesses in these areas can benefit from their support for free. If you would like to see how the programme could assist your business please get in touch:
