Harlow has a nationally designated Enterprise Zone focused on providing for the advanced manufacturing, life sciences and ICT/Digital industry sectors. It includes two sites at London Road and Templefields industrial area.

Harlow Town Centre

Harlow has a strong retail offer ranging from Town Centre locations including the Water Gardens and Harvey Centre to neighbourhood shopping centres and large retails parks in the north of the town.

Harlow has a large Town Centre that incorporates indoor shopping within the Harvey Centre and Water Gardens. As well as pedestrianised areas that include Broad Walk, Terminus Street, StoneCross, East Gate and West Gate.
